Tim Schwartz, CPA is the firm's founding principal. Tim has over 25 years of general accounting experience with an emphasis in taxation. He specializes in tax matters involving all types of general business entities including individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates, and non-profit organizations.
Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as treasurer for several non-profit organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of San Joaquin County, the YMCA of San Joaquin County, Stockton Rotary Endowment, and the USS Ranger Museum Foundation. He currently is a board member of the Stockton Council of the Navy League and is a member of the Stockton Rotary Club.
Gary F. Giannini, CPA
Principal
Gary Giannini, CPA has over 25 years of accounting experience, currently with an emphasis in taxation. He specializes in tax matters involving various types of general business entities including individuals and small businesses, corporations and partnerships, as well as trusts and estates and non-profit organizations.
Gary received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of the Pacific and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is currently the treasurer of the Red Rhino Orphanage Project, the chairman of the Cathedral of the Annunciation Finance Council and sits on the Board of Membership of Dameron Hospital.
Philip Lantsberger, CPA

Philip Lantsberger, CPA has specialized in audit and accounting engagements since he began in public accounting in 1986 and is the partner-in-charge of the firm's audit and accounting practice along with providing non-traditional services such as business valuations, strategic planning, fraud and internal control matters. His client base and experience includes the following industries: non-profit organizations, governmental organizations, pension plans, real estate, and professional firms.
Philip received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
William H. (Bill) Adamson

William H. (Bill) Adamson is a Principal with Schwartz, Giannini, Lantsberger and Adamson. Mr. Adamson has more than 30 years of experience in business management, negotiation, and finance specializing in and healthcare and financial management. His expertise includes physician organization management, business valuation, cost accounting; real estate operation and development; transaction negotiation; business planning; business development and financial modeling.
Bill received his MS degree in Business Administration/Accounting and a degree in Mathematics from California State University, Hayward.
Robert S. Gross, CPA CFE
Partner
Robert Gross has over 13 years of public accounting experience dealing extensively with non-profit organizations. In addition, he has over 20 years of practical experience in business management, negotiation, and finance specializing in fraud prevention. His expertise includes corporations and partnerships, non-profit and governmental organizations, pension plans, and real estate development organizations.
Robert is SGLA's audit manager and consults businesses and non-profit organizations on accounting system analysis and internal control procedures.
Prior to working with Schwartz, Giannini, Lantsberger & Adamson, Robert worked as a general partner of two successful retail businesses in the Bay Area overseeing all operational aspects of the organizations.
Robert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Accounting from California State University , Hayward and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 2005, Rob earned the distinction of becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Julie Parenti is a staff accountant who has been with the firm since January 1999. Julie has over twenty-five years of accounting experience in private and public accounting and has specialized in non-profit since 1999. Julie also provides contract Controller/CFO type accounting services to several non-profit clients of the firm. Julie is a member of the audit team for auditing engagements for non-profit and real estate clients of the firm.
Prior to working with Schwartz, Giannini, Lantsberger & Adamson, Julie was the Director of Finance of St. Joseph's Medical Resources, Inc. in Stockton , California . She was responsible for the preparation and presentation of financial statements to the Board of Directors. She supervised the management of the accounting system for three medical groups and five IPA’s. She developed the Finance Department objectives and internal controls, along with the Policies and Procedures Manual.
